SALE COMMON & WETLANDS GIPPSLAND VIC
Once presenting it self as the entrance to Sale via the South Gippsland Hwy the now closed Swing Bridge is amongst a small number of its type to survive. Meticulously restored with the help of members from the local community this beautiful bridge is now functional again and can allow water traffic to move up and down the Latrobe river. The romantics of the area rumor the return of the paddle steamers to pass this way again? If you listen carefully you can almost hear the whistle blow in the deep distance, such is the sense of history for this old bridge.( Approx 5 mins from Sale along the South Gippsland Hwy)
LAKE GUTHRIDGE & LAKE GUYATT AREA
The Black Swan long the emblem of Sale can be seen around the picturesque wetland walks, but a word of warning they are very friendly so make sure you bring lunch for both of you. There is amazing wildlife in these wetlands and many viewing spots to see them take your time and take plenty of film for the camera. (see AREA MAP SALE link above)

Famous for its surf fishing and clean sandy beach.
There are many free campsites between Seaspray and Golden/Paradise beach that attracts visitors all year round.

Seaspray and Golden beach have Takeaway food and General Stores. Also available is coin operated HOT showers for campers at Golden Beach.
While at Lochsport you also have access to the Gippsland lakes as well.
