Sale is a bustling town in Gippsland Vic that has many services available to visitors and is only 2.5 hrs from Melbourne and only 4.5 hrs from Ballarat.            

Need a few more creature comforts for a stay in the area Sale has a lot to offer.

There is ample accommodation  in Sale and you still can hit the Ninety Mile Beach in approx 25mins easy drive.

The great thing about Sale is that there is so much so close in all directions making day trips a breeze and when you get back there is some wonderful establishments to relax in.

There is a myriad of eateries with Raymond St alive with coffee shops and cafe's to rival Lygon St Carlton. What are you waiting for hop in the car and come on down.

GENERAL RULES AND CONDITIONS

WEIGH IN TIMES

FRIDAY:9AM TO 5PM - SATURDAY: 9AM TO 5PM & SUNDAY 9AM -1PM

PRESENTATIONS APPROX 2.30PM SUNDAY

BOUNDARIES:

SEASPRAY TO LOCHSPORT INCLUSIVE.

METHOD OF FISHING:

Maximum of two (2) lines per contestant, casting from beach only. Fishing from boats use of blood, electronic apparatus, kite, catapults, balloons, bazookas, surfboards etc; will lead to disqualification, stewards will patrol contest area.

WEIGH IN CONDITIONS:

Stewards have the right to refuse to weigh-in any fish not cleaned to specifications. Contestant or his/her proxy must sign for any fish weighed-in. This signature will be proof of correct recording of fish type, weight and ticket number.

WEIGH-IN STATION AT GOLDEN BEACH.

CLEANING OF FISH:

All fish will be gutted with full cut (see diagram), and cleaned of all sand.

 Fish without heads or gills will not be weighed.

SECRET WEIGHTS

If no fish are caught to match the relevant secret weight then the nearest weight will be selected, If more than one fish is presented with the same weight the winner will be determined by draw.
